What is paid?
Travel costs to school – the Schülerticket Hessen.
For whom is it paid?
For students under the age of 25
– who go to a general or vocational school,
– who do not receive an education allowance or Schüler-BAföG grant,
– if they have to travel to school using public transport (bus or train),
– if the kvgOF | Kreisverkehrsgesellschaft Offenbach mbH is no longer responsible for paying the costs.
How much is paid?
The Schülerticket in full.
How does it work?

If you’ve already completed your full-time compulsory education, i.e. you’re already in your 11th year or similar class and have to travel to school by bus or train, Pro Arbeit can pay for the Schülerticket in full for you.

For this, simply take the form SCHÜLERBEFÖRDERUNG (school transport). Your parents complete it and include your school certificate. You have to send both to Pro Arbeit.

How does it work?

They will check everything. Your parents will receive a notice. This will include when you can collect your Schülerticket from Pro Arbeit.

A different solution is only possible in special circumstances.
These must be discussed in advance with the relevant people from Bildung und Teilhabe.

Don’t forget:
– School certificate
– Notice from the Wohngeldstelle (housing benefits office)
– Notice from the Familienkasse (family benefits office) (Kinderzuschlag)
