Sometimes students have difficulties understand a subject’s content. In this case, the marks in their class work or school reports are bad. Maybe you’re familiar with this. The Bildungs- und Teilhabepaket provides you with support to improve your marks.

Students under the age of 25,
– who go to a general or vocational school
and do not receive an education allowance and
– who have poor marks.

Tutoring is initially only permitted until the next school report. You must then submit your report. If you need more tutoring, you have to make another application to Pro Arbeit.

Pro Arbeit can pay for you to have tutoring lessons for two subjects for two hours each per week.

Pro Arbeit can cover the appropriate tutoring costs for you.

If you need tutoring, you can submit an application to Bildung und Teilhabe to have the costs covered.
Simply use the form LERNFÖRDERUNG. Your parents fill in the front and sign the application.
The reverse side must be completed by the school. It is important that it states exactly why you need extra tuition outside of school. Your teachers know you best, so only they can recommend tutoring.

Then you choose a tutor. You give the LERNFÖRDERUNG form to the tutor or tutoring institute you would like to go to. Their details are also important and should be on the back of the form. Please make sure that this tutor is already registered on our website. If this is not (yet) the case, make the tutoring provider aware that authorisation is a required for the payment of costs by Bildung und Teilhabe.

You send the completed LERNFÖRDERUNG form to Bildung und Teilhabe. Everything will be checked there. There may still be questions about the application. Then the administration department will contact your parents or the school. If everything is in order, your parents will receive a notification and your tutoring can begin. Go to tutoring regularly and make a note of when you were there and for which subject. Bildung und Teilhabe will transfer the tutoring costs directly to the authorised tutor or institute.

You have to go to support lessons and other free learning services offered by your school first. Pro Arbeit can only pay for extracurricular tutoring for you if there are no or only insufficient opportunities at your school.
